We specialize in growing rare and unusual plants for the Midwest region.  Our distinctive plants are grown in central Ohio and have been featured in the Columbus Dispatch and Columbus Monthly magazine.  We offer a wide selection of dwarf conifers, Japanese Maples, Witchazels and many other unique ornamental plants for the landscape, most of which are low maintenance.  In 2009, our 10' x10' design of Dwarf Conifers won a Silver award at the Cincinnati Flower Show.  After 30 years of propagting and growing plants, we are not just "book learned", we are experienced.  We know plants.

We offer professional landscape design, installation and maintenance services.  Consultation services are also available to advise you on landscape projects, plant selection and to identify problems.   Personalized Gift Certificates are a great way to celebrate any occasion or to memorialize a loved one.

Who We Are

Dannaher Landscaping, Inc. is small a family owned and operated business. Started by Dave in 1978, he was joined by his wife Leslie in 1980 and both have degrees from The Ohio State University in Horticulture. Many years ago, we decided to grow plants that most nurseries did not stock.  The first criteria for choosing plants was whether or not they were hardy for our area--not just able to survive, but they had to thrive!  They also had to be pleasing to the eye and to have at least one characteristic that made them exceptional!

 The fact that other garden centers overlooked these wonderful plants also made them attractive to us; we could fill a much needed niche in the market.  That was over 30 years ago and we are still excited about these unusual plants!

 Over the years we have met many, many great gardeners who have become friends and many friends who have become great gardeners--we are truly grateful for their loyalty and friendship.

 We are very fortunate to be working in a field that we love.  We are very passionate about our plants and want to share that passion with you!!
